Editorial Policy

Techord exists to give Australian readers technology reporting they can check. This page sets out how we work.

Sourcing comes first. Every factual claim in a Techord article traces back to a primary source: the regulatory filing, the company’s own announcement, the research paper, the earnings call transcript, the court document or the dataset. Where a source is public we link to it directly in the text, so you can read what we read rather than taking our word for it. We link primary sources wherever they are publicly reachable, and when another publication broke a story first we credit them by name and link to their work.

Quotes are reproduced verbatim from what the speaker actually said or wrote, in context, with the setting and date made clear. We do not tidy up quotes to make them sharper, and we never invent them. Techord does not publish articles under fabricated bylines, and we do not use undisclosed AI personas as writers, sources or commenters. Every byline on this site belongs to a real person who is accountable for the work.

We use AI tools in the production process, and we say so plainly. Drafting, research assistance and editing support may involve AI, but no article publishes on the strength of a machine’s confidence. Every article is drafted with the help of AI research tools and reviewed against primary sources before publication, and the editor is responsible for everything Techord publishes.

Errors get fixed quickly. When a correction is material to the meaning of an article, we note the correction on the page with the date so the record is visible rather than quietly rewritten. Readers can report mistakes to amannchamlagai07@gmail.com.

Techord is independent. We do not sell links, sponsored placements dressed as reporting, or favourable coverage. Advertising and any commercial content is clearly labelled as such and is kept separate from editorial decisions. Affiliate arrangements, where they exist, are disclosed on the page and never influence a verdict or a recommendation. Review hardware is returned or disclosed, and no company gets copy approval over our coverage.
