Techord is an Australian technology news site covering artificial intelligence, robotics, electric vehicles, big tech and science. We started in 2026 with a simple frustration: most tech coverage that reaches Australian readers is written for someone else, in another market, about decisions made in another time zone. Techord reports the same stories with the part that actually matters here left in.
We cover AI models and the companies building them, the robots moving out of demo videos and into warehouses, the consumer hardware people actually buy, the science that will shape the next decade, and the policy and infrastructure decisions being made in Canberra and around the world that decide how all of it reaches Australians.
Our editorial promise is straightforward. Every article is researched against primary sources, which means the filing, the press release, the transcript or the paper itself rather than another site’s write-up of it. Statistics are attributed to a named source and a date, so you can check them. Quotes come from what people actually said on the record, verbatim, and we do not publish invented voices or fabricated numbers. When we get something wrong we correct it and say so.
Techord is independent and Australian owned. It was founded and is edited by Aman Chamlagain, who reports across all of our categories. We are not owned by a vendor, a telco or a platform, and nobody buys their way into our coverage.
If you have a tip, a correction or a story we have missed, we want to hear it. Write to us at amannchamlagai07@gmail.com.
